The purpose of this event is to showcase the world's entertainment content market!
This year the Personality of the Year Award was given to Shonda Rhimes.
You may or may not know her as the as the creator, head writer, and executive producer of Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder.
Some other trending topics included YouTube Red and how seriously Youtube is investing in content.
YouTube has started this subscription service and has enlisted famous YouTube stars, producers, and other multi-channel networks.
Virtual Reality of course is a trending topic this year, and it certainly had a presence here as well!
When virtual reality is being used, there is a connection with emotion.

Japanese media has influenced and will collaborate more with western media.
