October's Very Own

If you don't know, October's Very Own is the Canadian record label founded by Drake, Oliver El-Khatib, and Noah "40" Shebib.

But you may have heard the term "OVO" or seen the owl logo used on merchandise!

Either way, OVO slowly took over this week and you might not have noticed it!

Drake's Birthday

Monday October 24th was Drake's 30th birthday!

He celebrated this by releasing four songs:

"Sneakin'" (featuring 21 Savage who also celebrated his birthday this week), "

Wanna Know", (a remix of a song from a UK rapper Dave)

"Fake Love",

and "Two Birds One Stone".

Majid Jordan

Majid Jordan is an R&B duo (singer Majid Al Maskati and record producer Jordan Ullman) signed with OVO Sound.

They're currently traveling in the North American region for their first tour!

This week they performed on Tuesday, October 25th in Hollywood, CA and on Wednesday, October 26th in San Fran.

Not only are they signed to Drake's label, but they are also emerging artists from Toronto who have Drake as their mentor.
