History was made at #PFW2016!
Christian Dior
Dior's first female creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri did not shy away from the importance of feminism.
The #SS17 line was meant to represent the standards that women are setting today.
The design for Fencing gear were consistent no matter the gender.
Fencing jackets paired with tulle skirts. Such a clever way to display the strength and femininity women possess.
The all white was a great representation of the fresh start Chiuri would bring to Dior.
However, she also chose to showcase some of the older styles to show that Dior will still be the Dior we know and
"J'ADORE"
Yohji Yamamoto
In contrast to the all white previously mentioned, Yamamoto brought the dark side.
The septum piercings and the striking hair really gave the models some edge!
The hair resembles anime as if the models were walking in the fantasy land of Tokyo.
It is a great strong look for the women; wearing jackets, cut outs and high boots.
