This month Kanye West has been an important topic.
He has traveled for his Saint Pablo Tour since August 25th to celebrate The Life of Pablo, his seventh released album.
Unfortunately, while he was on tour his wife Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris at the beginning of October.
Because of this, Kanye postponed and rescheduled tour dates in Philadelpia, PA and Detroit, MI
He found out the news during his performance at the New York Meadows Music Festival and excused himself by announcing “I’m sorry. I have a family emergency. I have to stop the show.”
We understand how traumatizing this must’ve been for her and her family!
Only recently was Kim Kardashian able to come out of hiding and go back to her normal routine.
We wish her well in recovery.
On a positive note, Kanye came back and announced that he will be extending his tour!
The Saint Pablo Tour will now continue until the end of the year; including cities: Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Houston, Toronto and Oakland.
If you missed the first half of the tour you now get a second chance to experience it!

Some of the most talked about yachts included the Galactica Supernova and the Sybaris both sailing at 70 meters long!
The Genesi won the MYS/Rina award for being the most eco-friendly yacht at the show this year
This yacht features a swimming pool and could be an entire beach club sailing at 46 meters with battery power that can last an entire night.
As if they could not make yachts more luxurious, the Jetsetter was built in collaboration with the Italian fashion house Trussardi

On October 8, 2016 P.Diddy brought the finale of the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour to Oakland, CA!
The reunion was much needed, it has been 20 years since Bad Boy Entertainment was created.
In those 20 years, Bad Boy Entertainment sold over 400 million record worldwide and 38 platinum and multi-platinum singles
They clearly do not need the money!
P. Diddy has even said it himself: “For the amount of dates we doin’, I’m losing a lot of money. This is not about the money.”
We can only imagine how fun it must’ve been to attend and sing legendary hip hop songs with the creators themselves!

Last week we talked about Advertising Week and even though it ended on September 30th, we wanted to circle back and mention some notable industry highlights.
With partners such as Google, At&T, Spotify, IBM, Viacom, NASDAQ and NPR it is no surprise that this event has already impacted the media!
One of the most mentioned topics was the future of reality, whether augmented or virtual which accounted for almost 10% of the discussions.
Google made a huge impact after putting out commercials and advertisements on their new “Google Pixel” smartphone.
This phone will have the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) software which includes a digital assistant and a headset.
The next generation of consumers was also a big topic.
Millennials living in the Digital Media age will heed advertisements that are targeted at them through social media!
Facebook, Snapchat and Twitter are even adapting to this by not only becoming social networking sites but also by becoming useful in other ways.
While Facebook is creating the “Marketplace” for buying and selling items, Snapchat is now a “camera company” and Twitter has become a center for news.
Even the political parties have been using social media to promote their candidates!
Overall AdWeek NY was a hit for its 13th annual hosting.

Day’s 6-9 of Paris Fashion Week have finished off with a bang, taking us to the Past and bringing us to the Future.
Valentino
The Valentino #SS17 collection was Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccoiolis’ first solo show after previously mentioned Maria Grazia Chiuri left to work for Dior.
His inspiration was El Jardin de las Delicias (The Garden of Earthly Delights), a painting by Hieronymus Bosch during the Northern Renaissance time period.
Piccoioli also asked for some help from Zandra Rhodes because she could understand the concept of softening bright colored fabrics.
We think it was a collab well done, the collection represents both inspirations gracefully for the upcoming Spring.
Alexander McQueen
McQueen’s #SS17 line went through a Scottish immersion.
Sarah Burton brought McQueen back to its Scottish connection and embraced femininity in a gentle way.
The runway was covered in Taatit rugs and gentle lace was sewn in with wool in some of the outfits.
Floral Scottish patterns were also embroidered on a few of the denim and leather fabrics.
Chanel
Karl Lagerfeld paid it forward with Chanel’s #SS17 line.
The designs help us witness the future of technology and how it’s shaping fashion and us!
The bright techno patterned outfits had to be the highlight of the catwalk because these fit the pre-conceptions of how technology inspires fashion and of course, visa versa.
The other designs had bits and pieces of older lingerie showing through the famed thick short skirts bringing a sexy and modern look to light!
Louis Vuitton
Nicolas Ghesquiere also brought us into the future with the metallic and electric colors chosen in this collection.
Mettalic sequined jackets and metallic lined pants were elegantly paired with calf high boots.
The cobalt blue makes an appearance again and we think it does great a job standing out on the runway.
The current “it” LV bag this coming season will be the Petite Malle which looks like a mini version of a trunk.
There’s even a phone case to match!
Well, that about wraps it up for Fashion Week AW16!
It was an incredible display by everyone and the last few weeks and months have been exhilarating and exhausting all at the same time.

#SS17 collection was a beautiful mixture of neutrals, olive green, and coral.
The linen fabrics and floral designs epitomized #Spring from the runway.

The mini corsets on top of the long jackets, made the typically hidden undergarment show, how cute!
We love this trend.
Balmain
“The Balmain army has shed its armor at #PFW #AW16.”
This collection consisted of 80 looks this season and we loved it all.
In contrast to the previously mentioned neutrals, the earthy tones on the runway immediately caught our eye.
The models looked like goddesses coming straight from the desert.
The draping and high slits were placed perfectly to sway on the models’ legs as they walked down the runway.
Bra’s must be out of style this season, because these designs definitely do not call for one.
The full spectrum of Balmain muses appeared on the runway and in the front row today, including #GigiHadid, #AlessandraAmbrosio, #SashaLuss, #IsabeliFontana, #JosephineSkriver, #DoutzenKroes, #JosephineLeTutour, #NadjaBender, #JourdanDunn, and #StellaMaxwell.
Wouldn’t have been a #Balmain show or #PFW sans #KK+KW #KimKardashianWest, sitting front row and attending parties with her hubby #KanyeWest and with her mom and sister #KrisJenner and #KourtneyKardashian in tow.
